The winners of our first national photo competition were honoured at a special public event in Dublin in February 2014; below are images of the event and submitted images for the competition.

An Exploration of Water was the theme for Ireland's second Geography Awareness Week (GeoWeek Ireland), which took place from the 18th-22nd of November 2013. Our theme contributed to the international Geography Awareness Week theme of Geography and the New Age of Exploration sponsored by the NGS Education Foundation.
